An enlightening day spent in London learning more about the Paleo - TopicsExpress

An enlightening day spent in London learning more about the Paleo diet from Christine Bailey and hearing about natural anti-inflammatories from Antony Haynes - well timed for me with my tennis elbow! This past week Ive been drinking loads of my anti-inflammatory turmeric/ginger juice using not just 1 tsp of the oh-so-potent orange powder, but two. And adding a generous chunk of fresh ginger with lots of other ingredients to make it a really tasty gem - take a look below at the link. What other anti-inflammatory foods could I eat? Apart from ginger and turmeric - my favourites - I could drink green tea (catechins), eat loads of garlic (for various sulphur reasons but specifically for thiacremonone, & 1,2 D-T), eat slices of papaya (papain)...or juice some pineapple core (where the anti inflammatory bromelain is concentrated). I could also take a.o. a proteolytic enzyme to improve circulation, lessen the stiffness and break down scar tissue damage (thanks for that Antony!) Inflammation is of course not just about body injuries. Any illness or disease creates an inflammatory state, whether were talking acne, MS, Parkinsons,Crohns, IBS...and the rest! So if youd like more information on how to help inflammation without medication, do contact me and I can try to help. Until then, give this juice a go :) appleaday.org.uk/turmeric-juice-2/
