Fall Associate Position ASGK Public Strategies, a public affairs and communications management firm, is seeking highly motivated, career-oriented entry-level professionals for fulltime, six-month paid public relations and media relations Fall Associate positions for the Fall/Winter of 2013. We are committed to preparing our associates for successful careers in advocacy, government, business, public relations and public affairs. At ASGK, Fall Associates are full members of client teams and will have an opportunity to learn what full-time work at ASGK is like. Candidates will provide support across client accounts, with job responsibilities that may include: • Conducting research for new business proposals and existing campaigns • Creating and/or updating existing stakeholder, influencer and media lists by identifying new and relevant contacts • Monitoring for relevant news coverage across client portfolio, as well mas participating in sentiment monitoring via social media • Assisting with development of written materials, such as digital communications, letters to the editor, stakeholder communications, etc. • Proofreading documents for staff members • Assisting in the development of presentations Full-time candidates must be able to make a six-month commitment.
