An event I work for just got turned down for participation by a very successful, well-funded new vegan food company because while creating a better world for animals is an issue [they] care deeply about, they would rather dedicate promoting their products to ardent carnivores [sic]. While I understand and respect them for knowing whom they are targeting with their marketing (and I even agree with it), I dont think the right approach is to alienate or dismiss the very people who are the most committed to helping them get the word out about their products. Its probably my ego but I am going to likely recommend a competing vegan product on the market instead of theirs now.
