An exceptional set of films by people from remote South Australian Aboriginal communities is now live, documenting their unique personal stories in Far West Mojo. Red Cross funded the innovative project which saw people from the far west of the state make top-quality short films about their lives through digital story telling and mobile technology. With our financial support, communities were able to tell their own stories, in their own ways and counteract an otherwise marginalised Indigenous public sphere and voice. From a glimpse into local school life through to a trip razor fishing and memories of Maralinga bombs in the 1950s and 60s, the project gave voice to many previously untold stories. https://farwestmojo.wordpress/
