An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced, confident and self motivated Facilities Administration Assistant, to join our reputable and expanding client, an industry recognised and global retailer. The role’s primary objective to ensure the smooth operational functionality from managing office moves, procuring consumables, office supplies and ad hoc requirements to managing small teams of caretakers, cleaners and contractors. Main duties will include: •Communicating with external suppliers and contractors on a daily basis. •Heavily assist with the facilities operation which includes office moves and general office management. •Managing and procuring consumables and stationery for staff members. •Assisting to budget on finances by actively seeking alternative suppliers and service level agreements. •Managing the availability of pool cars. •Aiding and improving in the implementation of health and safety across the site. •Prepare reports and information as requested. •Assist with liaising with the service agreement providers and issuing them with reactive work when reported. The successful candidate needs to be driven and passionate about making an impact, be corporate and professional with their approach, and highly computer literate. You will possess excellent organisation and time management skills, and ability to meet deadlines whilst maintaining high quality of work. Ideally educated to degree level or equivalent, you will also be an effective communicator with strong interpersonal skills, and highly analytical and commercially aware and possess a background within a very similar role.
