An exclusive nightclub typically has a noted BOUNCER. Though it has people with membership, they also let people in from the line outside. There are also people who are not members who are given the same VIP treatment at the door, they dont stay in line. There are people who know the owner and HE puts their names on the guest list, then there are those in line who are picked out because of their disposition, could be the way they are dressed, their smile, swag or even reasons unknown, and then people in line who sort of wait till the BOUNCER says ok you can go in...now the BOUNCER is the common denominator. No one can get in, regardless, without going through HIM... I am a Christian, that is my personal path to GOD. I cannot say of anyone who lives their lives similar to how I do or even better than how I do, with reference to godliness, morals, kindness, interaction with people et al, that they are wrong simply because they are not Christians. Here is the point. No one gets to heaven without going through JESUS. Let me explain what I believe this means, you can either go through HIM by knowing HIM and familiarizing yourself with HIM, or by knowing HIS FATHER and obeying HIM, or you can go through HIM by HIS choice-choosing you/permitting you. Could my illustration above be a similitude to this?
