An exercise my mother used to perform on unsuspecting friends of ours was to ask to see their hands. If they were soft and pink shed somberly shake her head and declare Youll be first against the wall come the revolution.... In that light, what will happen to YOU come the revolution whose first tendrils of flame are consuming Missouri? In light of my mothers test, examine your hands. In case of lack of use its probably your lack of tools. Make sure to have plenty of them, ones that have obviously been used, especially garden tools. Used tools from the second hand market could save the lives of you and your family. In Manhattan obviously this isnt practical but few will survive there anyway. But perhaps you could take a bricklaying or pottery class. Because truly of all the people Ive known the entirely tool-less are the least worthy and the greatest burden to humanity and the planet.
