An explanation provided by someone is that frozen waters of the lake are moving during high tide. Because ice takes more space than water, it has overflowed the lake. This person says this is common in Alaska and Russia where the water in the ocean often freezes and what’s most impressive here is that the video is being taken as the ice moves. It is not a tsunami as it would be moving at a much faster pace. This video was taken in Minnesota. Impressive to watch but I’m very happy not to live in a place where this happens….
