An extremely busy weekend: 2 trips to the strawberry field (yes, I couldnt resist, so I returned for a 2nd visit while letting David sleep in = a total 40#s of strawberries, came home today to two loads of wash done & the bed made w/fresh sheets (yes, he is rather amazing), Froz.10 quarts of berries, made a few batches of sweetened berries, shared a couple containers of freshly washed berries w/lil Zach and Conor, made fresh fruit/veggie smoothies (a much needed refreshment after returning from berry picking), helped Holly move the final things into her new place, visited Davids dad - spent a little time there & brought home a surprise for Hollys place, studied, finished my weekly Nutrition quiz & CPT assignment, weeded a bit, pruned the roses, thinned out some plants while David did the yard work, took in some rays, and finally made 14 jars of strawberry jam (I was getting hints all weekend from that someone special that he was all out), I was caught tasting the goodness once the jars were filled, and very soon, this tired body is going to relax in a very hot bath!! I am hoping for a very long, much needed, uninterrupted rest tonight.
