An important announcement from your buddies at ICEE HOT: After five years of running ICEE HOT as a party and a label, we have decided to move on into new directions. As ICEE HOT, we have thrown about 70 parties and hosted something like 110 guests from all over the world. We have also put out nine records that have given us the opportunity to collaborate with some of the best musicians out there. Throughout this experience, we have developed both musically and personally, all while remaining completely ineffective and unprofitable as businessmen. We would like to thank the artists who have flown out here and played for us in San Francisco, many of whom were willing to sleep on our couches just so they could share their music with us. We would also like to thank the clubs that have hosted our parties and believed in what we were doing, especially the good people from Public Works and the now-defunct 222 Hyde. Most importantly, we would like to thank the people of San Francisco that came to ICEE HOT and supported our little endeavor over the years. Without you coming through the door and dancing, we would be nowhere. Over the next several months, we will be celebrating ICEE HOT with a few more excellent and exciting lineups, beginning with our party this Saturday in the Public Works loft with DMarc Cantu, Hashman Deejay, and Braiden. Well be throwing another party on December 6, and then well be saying our final goodbyes in January with one last blowout for our five-year anniversary. The final ICEE HOT wont be just another party though; this is going to be a 28-hour marathon session featuring some of our very favorite artists from around the globe. Its going to be crazy and you wont want to miss it. On the label front, we will also be putting out our 10th and final record: an EP from San Francisco legends Vin Sol and matrixxman entitled Daddy Issues, which will also include a remix from our own Ghosts On Tape. More details about all of this will be forthcoming in the weeks and months ahead, as will information about future musical projects from all of us.
