An important meeting was recently held in Hanoi with representatives of various SE Asian governments and the Asian Canine Protect Alliance (compromising Soi Dog, Change For Animals Foundation Animals Asia and the Humane Society International). The meeting focused on further steps to eliminate the illegal dog meat trade, curb the population of strays and eliminate rabies from the region.
