An incredible night at Ron Onestis Arcada. First, the BROOKLYN BRIDGE. With respect, these Gents had the appearance of an elderly Bank Board of Directors. Then they started to play. OMG is worn out as a descriptor, but 100% accurate here. Lead Singer Joe Bean Esposito has the voice of a thirty year old, hitting high notes effortlessly. He might be able to give Ronnie Platt a run for his money. The guitarist on the other side of the stage was a stone virtuoso, playing Rock with riffs informed from jazz. Stunning! They really had one big hit The Worst That Could Happen, but the guys in this band have been tied to scads of other HUGE hits. Their 4 part Harmonies were strong and right on. A real surprise of an act and thoroughly enjoyable. After the Brooklyn Bridge, The mighty mighty FELIX CAVALIERE took the stage, and sorry, I cant find the right words to describe it. EVERY song a spectacular hit. Felix manned his Hammond Mini-B standing up, and didnt miss a note, his voice as powerful and soulful as it ever was. The band behind him was tight and hot. Got to spend some quality time backstage with the man, who, for a Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame Member is the nicest, sweetest guy you can meet. A fab night to remember...
