You cant create laws to protect people from every danger life brings their way especially when those incidents are unusual events that dont occur very often. More people die each year of drowning yet I dont see people talking about banning swimming. In fact, taking the risk to learn how to swim is how we mitigate drowning deaths...just like we have to get behind the wheel of a car or the stock of a gun to learn how to use those also. Accidents will happen...we just need to keep them in perspective rather than trying to turn them into emotional political ploys.
