It has been updated with a wealth of info. Check it out too at: verandanortoncommons, The full text of the Insider Louisville article follows below: Norton Commons unveils floorplans of upscale Veranda apartments The new Norton Commons luxury apartment complex, Veranda, which we told you about in June, just released more details about the upscale development — the community’s first foray into rental units. The newly launched website, verandanortoncommons, is filled with fancy renderings of what the property will look like. It also reveals, for the first time, the various floorplans. What it doesn’t reveal yet are the monthly rental rates. “We will not have any final pricing available until pre-leasing begins,” Kayla Bates of Bristol Development Corp., the property’s developer, tells Insider Louisville. “We expect the smallest one-bedroom units to start around $1,000 and increase depending on square footage, level in the building, attached garage, etc.” The 236 apartments will feature one-, two- and three-bedroom units, ranging in size from 731 square feet, the smallest one-bedroom “Mulberry,” to an expansive 1,633 square feet, the three-level, three-bedroom, 2½-bath “Vinca” with an attached garage on the lowest level. All units feature stainless steel appliances, granite countertops and all-tile bathrooms. Amenities include a vast central lawn, “luxury, resort-style” swimming pool, two outdoor kitchens, fitness facilities, outdoor fireplace and TV area, Wi-Fi, a nifty package delivery and special notifications TV system, and a “Dynamic Twitter wall” in the clubhouse. And that’s just for the humans: Pets are not only acceptable, there’s a “pet spa with deluxe grooming stations” and two dog parks with training obstacles. Greystar Real Estate Management (Charleston, S.C.) will manage the property. It manages more than 380,000 residences around the world and was ranked first among the top 50 U.S. apartment managers in the 2014 National Multi Housing Council Survey. A look at its portfolio of properties is available at greystar. insiderlouisville/business/closing-bell6/
