An interesting article from Time magazine, mining reports and reporting elsewhere. It raises an issue Ive heard much, much discussion and debate about: the amount of money that colleges spend on financial aid for students who dont need it at all. Its money spent to lure top students with great resumes and superior test scores, students who will supposedly lift the schools profile, even statistically, and enhance campus life. But theres only so much money to go around. Is that the right way to use it? Your thoughts welcomed.
