An interesting article in todays, Sunday New Indian express about Netaji Subash Chandra Bose...death, of course till date its a mysterious one. He died in a plane crash that was supposed to be in the year 1945, on August 18 at Taiwan. His ashes are kept in Renkoji Temple in Japan. In fact whoever leader goes there, from India, used to offer their homages without fail. Now, a whistle blower, who has recently died, veteran Congress MP and a diplomat emphatically has said that Netaji Subash Chandra Bose died not in a plane crash but in a Jail at Siberia, Russia, under Joseph Stalin rule.. It seems after 69 years of his death, declassified files has come to roost with uncomfortable questions. In advanced country like USA, all the controversial files are declassified after the death of person, that too after certain time period, so that the public has the right to know what went actually at that time. Unfortunately, we as a democratic country dont have that policy. Take the Chinese war on India, till date nobody knows what went wrong with us. The govt be it Congress or BJP behaves in the same manner. Its high time our country enact a law in this regard without bothering of consequences that may arise, as the public has duty bound to know the truth, so that any wrong doings that might have been committed, even inadvertently, has a chance to rectify that. Do the govt has the guts to do that?...
