An interesting article published in the Washington Post which describes vividly, in layman terms, the ongoing short and distort scams aimed particularly to small medical device and biotech companies. For the past several years, it is our belief, we have been exposed to the same short and distort scams that has plagued our Company and our stock trading, like the Company in this article Northwest Biotherapeutics. These short and distort tactics have done harm to our Company and all shareholders. In our legal battles, we have won a libel judgment against self proclaimed short seller Marty Hicks for over 20 million dollars, won an arbitration judgment which included fraud against Richard Theriault et. al. for approximately 1 million dollars, and are continuing to battle against the SEC allegations which has been our belief stemmed from these two individuals.
