An interesting if yet sad occurrence in our society, was this act of vigilantism justified, or should it have been reported to the authorities instead? One side of me is somewhat satisfied with what he had got, but the other wonders if uncontrolled administration of punishment will actually solve the problem. Would the boy accept his punishment or retaliate further against his attackers or misplace his rage on others weaker than him?
