An interesting thing happened to me tonight at work. Upon going on - TopicsExpress

An interesting thing happened to me tonight at work. Upon going on duty, I received a dispatch to take a railroad engine crew from Guernsey, Wyoming to Orin Junction, Wyoming; a relatively short trip by most standards in this occupation. What set it apart from most trips is that for whatever reason, I felt compelled to take an alternate route home after delivering my crew to their destination. Instead of returning the route I had come, I headed east to Wyoming state highway 270, and south to Guernsey, Wyoming and on to Torrington where I had started my journey. I was approaching Ft. Laramie when I received a phone call from the local manager, and she was distraught about what my location was. She was relieved to find out I was 2/3 of the way home. She told me that in the time between my leaving Guernsey and arriving at Orin Junction (or shortly thereafter) there had been 6 serious automobile accidents between Wheatland, Wyoming and Casper, Wyoming, and the result was that the Wyoming State Highway Patrol had closed down that entire stretch of Interstate to travel. Thanks to the Good Lord looking after me, I didnt see any of it, and wasnt caught-up in the mess myself. Grace happens! youtu.be/i5_YAj9lCQc
