An international panel of scientists has found with near certainty - TopicsExpress

An international panel of scientists has found with near certainty (95% odds) that human activity is the principal cause of temperature increases in recent decades, and warns that sea levels could rise more than three feet by 2100 if emissions continue at this pace. CO2 emissions are up 41% since the Industrial Revolution, with coal-fired power plants a huge contributor. The scientists, whose findings are reported in a draft summary of the next big U.N. climate report, largely dismiss a recent slowdown in the pace of warming, which is often cited by climate change doubters, attributing it most likely to short-term factors.
