An investigation is underway after a man was threatened with a handgun at Emerton last night. Investigators are appealing for information about the incident in Emert Parade shortly before 6pm (Sunday 18 May 2014). Police from Mt Druitt Local Area Command have been told four men – one armed with a handgun – confronted an 18-year-old man in the front yard of a home. He was threatened with the gun then assaulted by a second man. Several friends were also assaulted before the four men ran to a Holden Commodore and drove away. Police are now appealing for information about the incident. The armed man is described as being aged in his 20s, about 188cm tall, with a slim build, and dark hair. He was wearing a grey hoodie and black track pants. Police were told he was carrying a handgun. The other men are described only as being aged in their 20s.
