An investigator examines the refrigerator from which murderess Winnie Ruth Judd sneaked milk and food while she hid out for three days and nights in a room in the La Vina Sanitarium in Pasadena, California. She was a Phoenix, Arizona medical secretary found guilty of murdering her friends Agnes Anne LeRoi and Hedvig Samuelson over the alleged affections of Jack Halloran. Her death sentence was later commuted to incarceration. She died in 1998 at age 93.
