An occasional butt-whooping in the gym is a good thing. Occasionally, creating challenges to push yourself and measure your fitness levels is a good thing. Beating yourself up day in and day out to exhaustion, believing that that is a great workout may not be the best method for success. What I see most is people that are stressed out, beat themselves up then not apply proper recovery techniques to allow the body to either heal or grow. This cycle leaves them further and further from optimal performance. -Robert Remember, I am not saying that HIGH Intensity is bad. I am suggesting that training to exhaustion consistently is counter-productive. Too many people think that the harder/longer the workout is, the better it is. That is a fallacy.
