An off-campus police pursuit ended on the RSU Claremore campus early Sunday morning after the suspect crashed his vehicle near the Sculpture Lab. The 25-year-old suspect, who was not affiliated with the university, was caught following a brief foot chase on campus around 3:30 a.m. Sunday just west of University Village A. There are no indications from law enforcement officials that any students were near the scene or in jeopardy during the brief event. The university is appreciative of area law enforcement for their swift action in apprehending the suspect.
