An officer with the New Cumberland PD (Hancock Co, WV) arrested a man early this morning after he pulled him over and discovered that he was intoxicated, driving with a child in the vehicle. Officials say it happened around 3AM along Route 8 near Crescent Lane in New Cumberland. According to police Anthony M. Reed, 29, was driving a vehicle which had no visible plates and had committed several lane violations leading to the stop. Officers say that Reeds 5-year-old daughter was in the vehicle. Reed was taken to the WVNRJ and will be arraigned later today. Reed is charged with DUI (his 1st offense) and child neglect.
