An old Amerindian woman told me that a real kanima is not a shape shiftier,that they used special prayers and herbs to make their spirits leave their bodies and take over the bodies of animals to achieve a specific purpose. What was strange is when she said there is a tribe that has no known origins, that looks like Amerindians, but speaks none of the Amerindian languages of Guyana and that they use a form of dark magic called navajo magic to do shape shifting and that she saw one of them changed from a wolf carrying a dead monkey in its mouth with ease to a human struggling to carry the same dead monkey into a village in the dense forest in the Mazaruni where it was skinned and eaten raw. Now i have to decide which one to do when i go on vacation ........ search for real footage of the so-called old-hide or go looking for these so-called nvaajo magic people!
