An old McCammon tradition got a new twist this year. It is our tradition to go to a Christmas tree farm the day after Thanksgiving. This year we are in Tennessee so we went to a different tree farm. We got a different kind of tree. Instead of giving us hot chocolate afterward, the sweet lady gave us a bag of turnips. The farm was owned and maintained by a 79 year old who has cancer. He hand-trims the trees as a part of his therapy. The maryville Daily Times Saturday paper carried an article about the farm which included a statement from Meredith and a picture of Joseph, Lydia, and Emma.
