The letter read thus: Dear Langa, I am missing you alot,and this year I wont be able to plant potatoes and other things because I cant dig the field,I know if you were to be here,you would have helped me. But now Im looking for money to hire labourers. The son (Langa) wrote back,Dad,dont even think of digging the field o,otherwise you will expose me because that is where I buried the money I stole. The policemen read the letter before delivering it to the father and the next day the whole field was dug by the police but nothing was found. The following day,the boy wrote to his father again, saying Daddy,now you can plant your potatoes and other things,your farm has been dug for you.
