An old heresy has started to creep back into the movement. This has come up from time to time. It is an Ecumenical theology commonly known as "plural covenant" theology. This teaching has it that Jews do not really need Yeshua, Jews are already saved through belief in Elohim and the concept of a Messiah in general. If we take that theology to its logical conclusion, then the restoration of the ancient sect of Nazarene Judaism has been an exercise in irrelevancy, a monumental waste of time. Moreover if we follow this argument to its logical conclusion then I should have never bothered coming out of Rabbinic Judaism to accept Yeshua, I was already saved by my belief in Messiah as a general idea. Following this logic, I should have stayed at my old Rabbinic synagogue.
