An old man in a wheelchair got hit by a car on 14th n 1st today on my walk back from the gym...everyone just stood there (which seemed like forever) while he was in the street helpless in his crushed chair. I run into the intersection and drag him out of the street and found he was OK. There was easily 200 people around and no one helped...sometimes I lose hope in humanity with bullshit like this. Next time you see someone who needs help...STEP UP. Do it because its the right thing to do...do it because more than likely no one else will.
