An old sikh mans portrait during the preparation of Langar at a Gurdwara. Langar is the free communal kitchen at Sikh temples where free food is served to all the visitors without any kind of discrimination. It is open to sikhs and non-sikhs alike. People indulge themselves in selfless service known as sewa. I shot this picture during my recent visit to Hola Mohalla Festival at Sri Anandpur Sahib in Punjab. They way light penetrated through these chimney holes was quite fascinating.
