An oldie but a goodie. Joe Cocker A Little Help From My Friends 1969 Woodstock. A seminal event form the 60s. I was in college after getting out of the Army during the Viet Nam conflict. Woodstock to me at that time was a religious Event. I became a long haired, beard growing hippy with a VW bus and flowered curtains in the windows. I also became an ultra liberal, Church hating, God denying, anti-establishment and a war protester. The fact I was married and had one son Jason, heavy drinking, among other things was a demonstration of just how immature and irresponsible I was. My friends were ones that felt and thought the same way/ Now, I am very blessed to have friends that are also Jesus loving instead of the hard drinking ones I used to have. I have been transformed to a very conservative, Jesus loving person. Amazing what the blood of Jesus and His grace can do. We just have to accept it. But I still and an anti-establishment protester.
