An open Letter (Rant) to my dear Super Amazing & Lovely Ibiza friends about bookings for the cinema for this winter... 1stly & Importantly - we are friends because you are super & lovely.. 2ndly - you seem to tolerate me to a certain degree (that deserves a medal) & 3rdly - you come to the cinema club and we have a great time.. many thanks for that and your continued support.. it really matters and makes it all worthwhile ... it makes living in Ibiza worthwhile ! :-) But... as the venue is now coming in to its full swing for this season and getting busier.. theres increasing numbers of new people who I have difficulty in explaining how the seat numbers/payments aspect of an event is difficult to manage and its causing great problems... and I certainly do not wish to offend. With only 35 seats, its proving to be an absolute nightmare with people either wanting to informally reserve with me directly (and then sometimes not coming boo :-( or even just turn up with extra mates which is not possible.. theres just 35 seats!! Theres also the situation where bookings online are only half completed on the ticket site and a payment has not been made and a reservation is left open...maybe its because theres a technical difficulty..? please let me know. Luckliy, the majority of people simply click/book & pay at the same time online.. hooray..job done !! ... But the floating places that are not completed online means managing just 35 seats is a real stress as numbers attending contstantly change etc. I would love you all more dearly than I do now if you can make sure that bookings from now are made & paid for online in a 100% confirmed click/book/pay kind of way.. otherwise my stress levels will climb too high .. and itll turn out that people will come to the cinema club not to see a Film & Socialize.. but to watch me have a meltdown on the door with my names list notepad and biro ;-) The only way to go forward is to have a 100% pay online Policy. Please dont take offense my super friends, and please dont let it put you off coming because youll be truly missed and the venue will be full of strangers and I wont get to see your smiling faces :-) Im setting up an automatic email on the ticket site, whereas incomplete payments/bookings are automatically cancelled and an email sent to inform of this.. It has been worded as politely as possible, so if this does happen to any of my friends because they have a problem please dont take offense, let me know.... and to all other punters who cant or (fiendishly) dont want to work with a simple click & pay website,... Please do take massive offense ! ;-) If you have ongoing payment problems due to your card or Paypal Account.. you can always get a friend to come who does have the payment system set up OK and they can pay for your ticket for you :-) Looking forward to some great fun over the winter with you all :-) Super thanks in advance for your understanding..
