An open letter to Elegys players: Last week Jamie notified the other Elegy directors that he had become aware of allegations of impropriety that had emerged online and in our community. He communicated to us his expectation that in the event that a complaint was brought against him, it be handled diligently and strictly as per our policy, regardless of his position as a director. We agreed with him fully and with our support Jamie has elected to take a leave of absence until such time as this situation is resolved or we are satisfied that his participation in the administration of Elegy does not compromise the integrity of the community. One of our proudest achievements is the creation of a community that holds safety and respect as its core values. Our published policies represent our word to our players on how we will uphold those values. We hope that our action in this matter demonstrates our commitment to those values, regardless of our relationship or position. If you have questions or concerns surrounding this matter, please do not hesitate to approach any of the directors. However please keep in mind that due to confidentiality concerns, we will not be discussing the details of the allegations with anyone other than the individuals directly involved.
