An open letter to Mark Passio (what on earth is happening podcast) that I just emailed him: Hi again Mark I was wondering what your stance on anarcho-communism vs anarcho-capitalism is. As Im sure you know, the idea behind anarcho-capitalism is to only have voluntary associations and trade, so basically, anarchy/liberty/freedom in general. Ive had many discussions with other WOEIH fans, many of whom are in favor of some form of forced egalitarianism, forcing people to provide for others, which I view as simply another tax. I wonder if you would find it worth your time at all to address the ancap v ancom debate, in an effort to take people all the way. Another point of contention is people possibly making things that could act as mediums of exchange/trade. With the help of your research, I now distinguish between money (as being a medium of exchange that is forced onto people and businesses by threat of violence) and mediums of exchange that are not forced or monopolized by violence. Basically, a free market of mediums of exchange would stabilize markets, and would be just an extension of the freedom of trade. I think addressing these factions would go a long way for taking the principles of freedom all the way for a lot of people, and would help to unify our efforts against slavery.
