An open letter to my nephews... Dear Brayden and Ryan, I hope that you are both well. In the past two years that we havent seen you we have all missed you like crazy. Your Dad hurts every single day, we can all see it in his eyes. He talks about his rooster often, Ryan, as you are his pride and joy, never forgetting the charm and character of you, Brayden, even though you werent Daddys biological son. Each birthday, Christmas, Easter we think about you both. We think about your smiles and how you would run around Grandmas house laughing and playing with not a care in the world. You would come running up giving me a hug saying come and see what I can do Aunty Laura! grabbing my hand and dragging me outside before I could even say hello. If I could tell you both anything today I would tell you both that I love you, your Daddy loves you and your Grandma loves you so very much. We miss you each and every day and think about you just as much. The hardest thing about all of this is you are still here. You are still just down the road. You have both fallen victim of the system and it kills all of us. The system has let you both down and permitted lies, deception and inconsistency to win again. I hope one day you will track us down so that you can finally be told the truth. I hope that one day you can meet your little brother. I hope one day we all can be a family again. In the meantime, I hope you are both doing well at school and keep positive no matter what is happening around you. Lots of love, Aunty Laura.
