An operational bulletin to all my Facebook friends. Beginning this weekend, and going into the early portion of this week, we need to practically prepare for the possible civil unrest as related to Ferguson. The call has been sent out far and wide for insurgents to descend on our region with the intent of disrupting our communities. We need to prepare as if for a natural disaster to limit the requirement for unnecessary movement for a couple of weeks. You need to stock up on non-perishable foods, water, batteries, fill gas cans, bread, eggs, light bulbs, candles, and a provision list that will ensure all individual requirements are covered. Lists are available on the Internet that cover most any situation. Make sure medical prescriptions are filled, elderly are covered, and simply ensure that you are prepared for any eventuality. Wal-Marta, Shop n Saves, and other retail outlets have been targeted in previous actions. Make no mistake it is their intent to cause widespread unrest and disruption of services and amenities. Our preparation will mean their failure. It is not my intention to scare, but rather to raise confidence by having everyone prepared.
