An optional Saturday (5 July) adventure for you: Bike to Ely. The main attraction is Ely Cathedral, where we can attend Evensong at 5:30. But there are also a few other things to see, if desired--Oliver Cromwells house, a Market (in the village square), and a river walk. The bike ride is 19 miles. We can take the train home (for just under 3 pounds). (Alternatively, you could feel free to take the train both ways.) The route is flat, and takes us through a few small villages north of Cambridge and lots of farmland. Easy ride, as far as riding goes, but probably about two-hour commitment to that saddle (these city bikes dont fly). Keep it in mind.
