An original script and choreography by Mythili Prakash, this production unfurls the tale of MARA ( a Buddhist folklore) entwined with our very own Jiva illustrates the entwined nature of our MIND, in a musical journey of dance featuring Shakti Dance Company and other guest artists. Make your date with MARA to explore the spellbinding story, accompanied by the sounds of Aditya Prakash Ensemble a 13 member group, bringing the story alive. This daunting task to bring the show to fruition, requires the support from all members of the community to keep art alive and from artists supporting art, sharing the platform of diverse culture in the Los Angeles community and creating an event to share the experience through story telling.
