An overnight failure at our transmitter site in Laurel, Delaware, resulted in the temporary loss of the over-the-air signal for WBOC, FOX21 and WBOC Classics. Our backup transmitter is being used to transmit our over-the-air signal, albeit at somewhat reduced power, while our engineers work to restore our main transmitter. This issue does NOT impact customers of Comcast, Mediacom, Verizon FiOS, DirectV and Dish Network, because those systems take a direct feed via fiber optic cable from our master control. This issue has impacted those viewers who watch us with an antenna, as well as customers of Charter, Bay Country Cable, Atlantic Broadband and Easton Utilities.
