An undeclared emergency like situation is being created in West Bengal. A police force that is hesitant to register case against islamists & TMC goons even when attacked, is going over board in pursuing false and concocted complains against BJP & RSS activists. Today morning a police team from Amherst Street PS came to 26 Bidhan Sarani - Kolkata 700 006, the Kolkata HQ of RSS and detained Sri Rajat Roy, the RSS Kolkata Uttar Bhag Pracharak. A renovation work was going on at the top floor of this century old residential building for the past few days. This place was the original office of the RSS prior to Keshav Bhawan. Stalwarts like Guruji, Balasaheb Deosasji, Rajju Bhaiya, Sudarshanji, Atalji, Adwaniji, Narendra Modiji, have all visited and stayed here. The renovation being carried out was purely based on bare minimum necessity and no addition or alteration was entered into. Just the old leaking asbestos roof was being replaced with new ones. The building owner & the local councilor were also informed regarding the same. Though Rajat da was released within a couple of hours after me and many of my fellow Swayamsevaks and BJP workers met with the concerned OC but this experience leaves some very pertinent questions unanswered. When murder accused are roaming free even after public admission of their guilt, when ruling party MP is openly threatening rape for its opponents, when jihadi goons are openly attacking senior police officers, when policemen are being assaulted inside police stations, its saddening to see the police devoting its precious time and energy against us rather than fighting the evil.
