An unpected trip back to the ENT today in New Albany. My ear has been hurting and draining fluid and I started being unable to hear out of it again a couple days ago. The Dr. thought maybe the patch had come out, but it was still in tact. He pulled a little more fluid out today and prescribed an antibiotic and eardrops. Gotta go back again next week. This being able to hear out of only one ear is driving me crazy. He said the healing could take a good long time. I find myself turning my head to hear people out of my good ear.
