An update from Alabama Arise about ACA enrollment locations: More than 6 million Americans have signed up for health insurance through the Marketplace, and that number is growing by the day. With the March 31 deadline right around the corner, Alabama’s enrollment helpers are teaming up for a big push to help people get covered. Check out the Bama Guide to find enrollment assistance near you. Here are just a few places where sign-up events are happening this weekend. Birmingham •Railroad Park on Sunday, March 30, from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Mobile •St. Stephens AME Church (2707 Josephine St.) on Saturday, March 29, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. •Moorer Public Library in Spring Hill (4 S. McGregor Ave.) on Saturday, March 29, from 10 a.m. to noon. Montgomery •Medical Outreach Ministries (1401 E. South Blvd.) on Saturday, March 29, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Here’s what people need to bring to enroll: •Social Security numbers and birthdates for all household members (everyone included on the income tax return) •Income verification for all household members (paystubs, W-2 forms and/or tax information) •Current health insurance information •Info on any insurance plans offered at work •Picture ID Many of your friends, neighbors and coworkers may be uninsured.
