An update from Tiff: She got a whopping 20 minute nap, but Im hoping some good rest comes for her soon. Tiff has such a wonderful, strong family, and Im thankful they have each other to lean on right now. Heres the latest: Mom is in surgery. And will be for the next 4-5 hours. Her left arm is badly injured so they are trying to repair it. If they cant, a full shoulder replacement will be necessary. Shes got many broken and fractured ribs. Her pain level is very high so keeping comfortable and resting is the game plan once she is out of surgery. Shes so strong! Max is also doing well. Hes still recovering from the surgery on his legs and right arm that was done last night. He will require another surgery this week on his left leg. The doctors continue to tell us how strong he is and how great hes doing considering the circumstances. His pain is being controlled and he is getting rest. Many of you have asked about visiting. While we would love to see you all please keep in mind both are still in critical units. Visiting is limited to family at this time but when they are well we will let you all know when you can come up if youd like. Many have asked about sending well wishes to the hospital. They have restrictions on what can be sent to patients. No REAL flowers or plants and no LATEX balloons. Cards are really the best thing to send! I will get mailing information soon but if you have my home address feel free to send a card there and Ill bring it to them. THANK YOU ALL for the love and support. I cant wait to tell them both how much they are loved and read your messages to them! I am reading EVERY SINGLE ONE and though I may not reply please know your gesture is truly appreciated! God is great!
