An update on Dean. He is doing well. As planned they took the first part of the finger. Now just to get the infection out...so he will still have to have IVs every day for a while.Will be going to Bowdle every day for that. And I need to emphasize that this is still very minor to some of you out there with cancer, heart or other major illnesses. But with Dean.....he sometimes just does not take care of himself very well, and our only worry now is that the infection heals , thus no other problems. Nowadays, simple issues can easily become big issues.His humor is there, as he held his shorter finger up to me in not a nice way for a picture that I will not post- when the pain set in!
