An update on Hilda( Joe Townsend;s momma) - She is at GLC in room North 24..now opening her eyes and making facial expressions (has smiled and cried), though she still is unable to swallow or talk and we are not sure how much she is aware of. She, even in this state, has a strong and stubborn streak :) She is kicking off her covers and appears to make attempts to get out of bed, though her rt side is completely paralyzed :-( She remains on hospice care as she made the decision to have No form of life support. She does not appear to be in distress or pain much at all...though for comfort she is being medicated with sublingual meds when she appears to have any discomfort ( that is what we do Not want!) ..If anyone wants to see her, visitors are welcome! AND as Always..PRAYER is APPRECIATED!!!.... On the bright side, we are getting to spend time with great friends and family who we dont get to see often & Hilda appears to know them today and has seemed delighted to have them surrounding her!!!
