An update on Porkchop, Just took some photos of his skin and hair. As you know he has been loosing his hair in patches, when I took him to the vet last Tues. we are in a series of tests being done. So far everything he has been checked for, has come back clear. like low thyroid and cushiness to some degree. Over this weekend I have noticed that it has spread much more as when I had him to the Doctors he had a few patches of this but now he has lots of them. I have to go the vets tomorrow morning to take another urine sample to be specifically checked for Cushings. so I will be talking to him then. He dont seem to itch at all with this plus these yellow patches feel dry, I am so careful to brush him as he jerks every time I stroke his hair or when the brush touches his body. I am afraid that he is going to go bald very rapidly if this keeps up. I would appreciate your comments if you have encountered this with your Maltese.
