An update on Prince. As normal around here there is seldom a dull moment and that applies to the dogs too. We had a guest pup this week and Prince did great. He was a little off kilter at first, having this stranger in his home but it didn’t take long for him accept our new guest as one of our own. We had a human visitor all week too that decided if he could have a dog, Prince would be his pick. We took the poodles to the Pine Tree Festival in Perry where the poodles got lots of attention. Prince does extremely well with strangers that just have to pet him and best of all, he is very calm and patient with the little ones. He still loves to mark outside, so we let him explore a little more there. Funny thing, he was all marked out in about 10 minutes. We had intended to take the dogs on Saturday to the Crab Festival in St. Marks but they suddenly decided they didn’t want dogs around any more, so that festival is now off our list of fun places to go. We did go after the festival and visited one of our favorite dog friendly hangouts. The boys were great, they met a lot of people, posed for pictures and the cook made them a special lunch. They slept soundly all the way home. I do believe that when Prince goes to his forever home, Rocco will miss him more than anyone in house. They have become major play pals, chasing, tumbling and pulling on both ends of the same toy morning and night. Prince’s favorite toy is a ball with a rope (shown in our previous FB post) that he will shove in Rocco’s face to invite him to grab then it’s game on!
