An update on my Moms brother, my Uncle, Carl Byers. He has been in the hospital for 10 days and has just received his 7th unit of blood and his Hemoglobin continues to drop :-(. His stomach was pumped today to see if there was blood pooling there and there was not any. It has now been determined that he has an active bleed in the upper part of his small intestine. He is being transferred to Johnson City Medical Center Hospital and will have surgery this afternoon ( hopefully it can be done with a laser) stop the bleed. So hopefully, when this bleed is stopped he can get stabilized to get transferred to a Rehabilitation Center for his paralysis on the left side. Prayers and good thought are so appreciated!
