An update on my over spun Norwegian gray. I believe I fixed the problems, thanks to everyones advice on here. Someone told me to unspin it a little on the wheel, so I did. I gained an entire yard when I was finished so that lets you know how bad it was over spun. As for the distinct barn odor, I took someone elses advice and used near boiling water with original dawn. The water was a dark greenish-brown after 15 minutes of soaking. I rinsed in equally hot water until the water ran clear. There is much less of a aroma to it now (there is still some, but its still wet.) Thank you all for the teaching and the patience!
